Earth Hour 2010

Some of you on facebook may have caught my posts about this. It is a world wide event that began in Sydney Australia in 2007. Wether you believe in global warming or not, this is simply a statement that we as a world value our Earth. This Saturday, March 27th at 8:30 if you can, please turn off your lights for 1 hour.

I am not one of those "global warming nut jobs" however, I do believe in conservation and preserving our planet. Recycling, limiting waste and decreasing pollution. I think this is exciting and a powerful statement!

I do not think it is inappropriate to not waste resources. While I think there is too much extremism attached to the "global warming crowd", I do support your efforts to bring attention to efforts that are just plain common sense to conserve.
