    Twisted Whiskerz Catfish Series Announcement
    ________________________________________
    Major tournament Announcement!!!!!!!!

Twisted Whiskerz Catfish tournament Series for 2010!!!!

TwistedWhiskerz is a group of motivated fishermen who picked up where the Neocats trail ended. We met fishing collective catfish tournaments the past few years such as Deer Creek, Cripple Creek, Cabela’s, Akron Cats, etc. Most of us were following the Neocats semi-pro trail. Regrettably, in late 2009 it was made apparent that this tournament trail had dissolved. Fortunately, a handful of us got together and without question agreed “Let’s keep it going”. So here you have it: the opportunity to fish competitively in a professional-style tournament at an affordable team entry fee, understanding today’s economy. And getting you out on a variety of different lakes, reservoirs, and rivers each year throughout the many waterways Ohio has to offer. We have identified all of the things that we liked from the previous trail and kept them, but will also be introducing new ideas to improve the series along with considering yours. An equal opportunity is here for both the novice and experienced angler to learn and compete, whether by boat or from shore. The biggest rewards, however, are the wonderful times we share with our family, friends and people with the same desire to compete in a safe, friendly environment. We hope you will join us and embark on a journey this fishing season that has more to offer than you could imagine.

We all look forward to fishing, competing with and seeing a lot of familiar and new faces this year.
In closing, it’s not about us…It’s about “all of us”.

Didn't the Twisted Whiskerz sing, "We're Not Gonna Take It?"

Yeah, it was part of their live double album 'Twisted Whiskerz.....Live at Tappan Lake 2009'. Produced by Chuck Norris, with special 'magic' by Barbara Eden. A group called the Blue Gills opened.

Wow, you truly have a mind like a teal strap, don't you? I had forgotten all of that information until you reeled me back in.
The Blue Gills have a few non-mainstream tunes they recorded, Baby, I'm Hooked On You, (not to be confused with the Sheepskins song, Baby, I'm Hooked On Ewe), My Bass Ain't Ackwards, I'm Backing Out The Door, and one of my favorite songs, I'm Waiting On You With Baited Breath. One that never really took off for them was, You Wanted Me To Kiss Your Ass, But This Old Man Ain't No Bottom Feeder. It was bluesy and Muddy Waters played with them.

Oh, and here is a trivia question, for you...What well known game show host sang with the Blue Gills before he passed away? If you said Wink Martindale, you are right again!

Wink passed between the death of our other forum and this one. He and his brother, Nudge Martindale, were at a Monty Python reunion in England and had a subway accident involving Jared Fogle. I would have posted notice of this when it happened, but we were in forum purgatory at the time.

WTF !? I just now got interested enough to look under this topic, and you guys were cutting it up in here. Lol. I also think that you guys scared the new poster away. You know, I don't think he was ready for us just yet, or maybe Mr. Whiskerz ate him...
