    Joe Paterno Empty Joe Paterno

I was sorry to see Joe Paterno passed away yesterday. I blame it on Jerry Sandusky and the Penn State administration. IMO, his heart and his spirit were broken when he was fired from Penn State after all the years and dedication he put into coaching there. None of the scandal was his fault. Shame on the Penn State officials.

    Rest in peace, Coach Paterno.

Sorry it took me so long to put my two cents in, but I got a new laptop and I lost the forum address...
Indeed it was sad to hear he passed...HOWEVER, I have mixed feelings on this.....he dedicated his life to Penn State and there was no doubt he was loved and was a wonderful coach...in saying that, he could have done more but didn't. He was god at PSU, he could have done more, but he chose not to.....he chose his football program over the kids that were being molested.....I could go on for days, but you catch my drift.....
    RIP JoePa....

    Blue,
I "catch your drift" on that one....BUT I'd have to agree with Mickey . Had Joe come forward years ago who knows what may have happened, we can only speculate. I have little doubt that "they" could have taken JOE out years ago too had he gotten in the right persons way.
