There has just recently been 3 celebrity deaths in a row . . . Art Linkletter, Gary Coleman and Dennis Hopper. They certainly all seemed to come at once, didn't they?

Beaver Cleaver's Mommy
Sadly, Beaver Cleaver's mom has passed away. Barbara Billingsley, she of the sensible dress with the tasteful pearls around her neck, and heels, passed away at the age of like, 400? So long, June.

(New York Times, 12/05/2010): John Nuzzio, (Leslie), famed porn star of the 70's and 80's died at age 65.
Yeah I know but it is so lame for the notice to be in a major newspaper beyond an obituary.

Jack LaLaine (sp) died yesterday, he was 96. I saw him recently on some infomercial and he looked great for someone his age.

Re: Recent Celebrity Deaths
Speaking of looking good for their age.. I am taking care of a lady at work who is 102!!!! Completely with it, not really hard of hearing, can move around better than some people half her age!!! No, she's not a celebrity, but being 102 and with it makes her a celebrity in my eyes!! (Yes, I know this is a death page... maybe I should move this tribute.. lol)

Our friend Margaret passed away when she was about 101. She had all of her wits about her right up until the end. She had all kinds of medical issues - cancer, arthritis, heart trouble, you name it and she probably had it, but her mind was sharp as a tack. She would tell grunt that she just wanted to die because she was so tired.
Hope your patient does well and gets to turn 103.

I believe she got discharged today, but last night before I left, I told her I hope she makes it to 105. She laughed and said "Maybe 103! That would be good". She lived in her own home STILL, and absolutely refused to go to a nursing home! Absolutely amazing.

Clarence Clemons, Saxophonist with Bruce Springsteen and the E-Street Band, died Saturday from complications of a stroke he had a week ago. I just loved his playing. 40 years with the band - wow. He'll definitely be missed.

Amy Winehouse was found dead in her apartment. 27 years old, what a waste. Anyone besides me think it was an overdose?
